Welkom op de nieuwe site voor de voorbereidingen van de 2e Trip naar Schotland. Schotland 2008 was een groot succes en ideeen voor de nieuwe trip zijn geboren.
Echter bij deze trip ligt de nadruk op het ontdekken van Schotland te voet. Dat is niet iets nieuws, dat hebben meer mensen gedaan en aangezien we de omgeving rond Loch Rannoch erg mooi vonden heb ik gekozen om een stuk van de West Highland Way te gaan lopen.
De West Highland Way (WHW) laat je op een prettige manier kennis maken met de Highlands. Normaal loopt de WHW vanaf de rand van Glasgow naar het noorden door de befaamde Highlands. Maar gezien de tijd wil ik hem oppakken vanaf Bridge of Orch. Hier is een halte van de trein vanuit Glasgow naar Fort William.
